The Department for International Trade (please make sure you have the name correct – I’ve seen Department ‘of’, and some other variations) is the government department that helps UK-based companies to export and assists overseas companies to bring investment into the UK. The E-Exporting Programme was piloted by the department in September 2014 and is designed to accelerate UK exports through online channels. To date, the programme has helped 3,000 businesses and delivered over £600m+ in incremental export business for UK companies.
